Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico

Playa Sucia beach or also known as Playuela beach is another treasure in the west region of Puerto Rico. This beach is located in the city of Cabo Rojo, aside from the popular lighthouse Los Morrillos. Is just a big adventure to get to this beach. The first thing you notice is how the pavement road disappears to turn into just a dusty path. Be ready to cross some water, bumps, plus up and downs. Do not worry, most cars can do the trip unless it rains too much. Second, remember is a beach inside of a Natural Reserve, do not expect a huge parking lot, cement, or any kind of facilities. It is just a natural hidden beach in the southwest corner of Puerto Rico. Once you finally made it to Playa Sucia, then you finally see it.

Playa Sucia Beach
Seashell

A tropical paradise beach that requires our admiration. White sand, some vegetation, and oval shape beach that looks amazing. This area is a Natural Reserve so try to keep it pristine. Bring everything that you may need, snacks, drinks, or umbrellas.

The water in Playuela beach looks turquoise blue, most of the time the water is very clear. It has this panoramic wideness and also some trails that take you to some eyesight places. It is a beautiful place that only asks to keep it this way, amazing. Be ready to marvel your eyes with this beach, it counts with a scenic view of the Lighthouse Los Morrillos and the beautiful cliffs that surround it. This is just natural beauty. Is going to take you on a trip back in time when there was no human intervention, just natural wonders. Be ready to take photos, and videos, have a great time and just enjoy the moment. This is wonderful for spending quality time with your family or having a romantic date on a paradise beach. This is the kind of place that builds memories, emotions, and happiness.

Playa Sucia Beach

Is a beach not a Balneario, this means that there are no bathrooms or public facilities. As I mention is Natural Reserve, in Playuela beach there are no kiosks, lifeguards, showers, or swimming designated areas. My recommendation is just to come for a few hours, not the full day in order to enjoy Playa Sucia beach and her enchanted views.
